WESTERN ROSEWOOD

Alectryon oleifolius and Heterodendrum oleifolium

Alectryon oleifolius and Heterodendrum oleifolium of the family Sapindaceae. I though at one point that Heterodendrum oleifolium was just a synonym for Alectryon oleifolius but The Plant List has it as a separate species and there is a web pic below which shows it used (and it is for a wood that does not look like Alectryon oleifolius)

A small Australian tree, not a true rosewood, the wood of which is only available for small objects.
