There are at least 100 species from over a dozen unrelated genera (a big chunk of the species are from the genus Palaquium) that have ekop as all or part of one or more of their common names and I have no idea which of them are represented on this page but they all appear to be native to Indonesia, India, Southeast Asia, the Philippines, and New Guinea.
