when these pictures were taken, the bowl had one coat of natural stain as a sealant

<br>the front wood on the left-hand pic is cacique and to the right of that is aromatic red cedar with sapwood
<br>the front wood on the right-hand pic is hard maple with douglas fir to the left of that and to the right an oval of movingui

<br>at the front is aromatic red cedar and to the left of that is another piece of aromatic red cedar, this time with both heartwood and sapwood, and to the right front is an oval of cocobolo
